When the Sasana of the Blessed Ones disappears, only Asura power exists in the world. Let me tell you a simple way to understand what asura power is. Apart from the triple gem, the group of deities who benefit from the path and the group of deities who follow the triple gem, the rest of the power can be called asura power.
We receive blessings from various deities for our daily activities. According to your sermon, some of them are demonic forces. So, from which gods can we get blessings as heavenly forces?
We can be blessed by the gods. We can entrust our children to the gods. God Sri Sumana Saman, God Dedimunda, God Kataragama, these Buddhist gods දෙවියන් God Vishnu are moderate. The Shakra gods are the guides, the Vaishnavas are the guides, the four gods are the guides. It is a mistake for Buddhists to go to the Asura party when there are so many gods. The problem with going to the Asura party is that they are prudent.
The common people do not live with a core. Without a core. The person with the core is setting his or her goal for something beyond hospitality, fame, and praise. Cheap, caring for the beggar. There is nothing beyond fame and praise. All Asura forces, they make themselves happy, they please themselves, with profit, hospitality, fame, praise. It is by looking at the size of their devotees that those asura forces rejoice. They rejoice in what they receive from them. These people are like politicians. They are happy to see the size of their electorate. Not a single voter wants to leave. They want the voters to join their side. The Asuras are like that.
If someone goes to the Asura force and asks for help, those forces will work hard to do that help. As soon as that help is done, the person who received that help is caught by that asura force. Not only in this world, but also in the Hereafter. There are some who are Buddhists by name, and go to temples to get help. He goes to that temple and gets help from Kali. The Asura force helped.
According to the world doctrine of Asura power in making help can make him his client. Accordingly, the world dharma gives space to the forces of association to look at him. He does it when he is about to die. If they have won the case through themselves, they have obtained what they have obtained, they are using their right to do so by the Asura forces. Then, as he nears death, the Asura force comes to him. “I helped you.” Come to me. ”They keep him as their slave. This is what digging means. There is no salvation at that time. The only salvation is the season. But since he had been out of season from the beginning, he would lose that support as well.
The weaker one suffers from this. Some do not have both. There is no seasoning. He did not even go after the Asuras. They are the ones who get caught up in witchcraft, sorcery and witchcraft. They live on hunger. Danadi Pinkam has not done anything. So they live in misery. People like this are easily caught up in things like witchcraft.
Lord, are asuras a divine state?
No, but their leaders are gods. They are powerful. These people are Alzheimer’s. They do not even see Thawthisa. With so much mahasakya tisarana power, when there are a group of gods including Sakdevindu Pramukha, the fourfold gods, they run after the asura power for small things. Some begin to suffer not only in this life, but throughout the world.
The Blessed One also preached about the Asuras. It states that the Asura War also broke out. There he addresses God and tells God that a war is about to break out. If the Asuras are defeated, their leader Vepachitti Asurendra is captured alive and his hands, legs and head are imprisoned and brought to the Sudam Sabha.
Similarly, Vepachitti Asurendra also tells his Asuras that a Asura war is about to break out. If the demons are defeated, their leader Sakdevindu will be captured alive, imprisoned and brought back to him. In this war the Vepachitti Asura is defeated and captured alive. Defeated Vepachitti sometimes thinks God is good. Religious. At that time he can enjoy the divine pleasures that the Asuras are evil and immoral. If he thinks while enjoying divine bliss I will go to the world of asuras. God is unrighteous.
The Asuras claim to be religious and at the same time his neck is fifth and his hands and feet are stuck. But, ma’am, Mara’s bond is even more subtle. That the animal binds to it in the most subtle way. From all this we see that there are two parts called Sura Asura.
Of these two Asura divisions, the most unknown is the Asura division. There is a description of the Asuras in the Maya Sutta of the Sakka Samyukta. It states that the asura called Vepachitti goes to see Sakdevindu Asurendra when he is ill. Then Vepachitti says to Sakdevindu, “Devendra, I am very ill. Treat me. ” Sakdevindu says to Asurendra, “Vepachitti, I will give you medicine. Teach me the magic of Sambari. ” Vepachitti says, “If I want to tell you that, I have to ask the Asuras.” Vepachitti Asuras are called and asked about it. Then the Asuras say “No! Don’t teach me that magic! ” That. It’s probably a spell of the Asuras.
We know that when the Blessed One attained enlightenment, the demon with the army of Bimbarak was defeated. When we study the sermons on this Mara Sena, it becomes clear to us that the Mara Sena is an asura force. It is this asura force that is constantly influencing the world. The gods interact with people only during the time of the Buddha. During the time of the Supreme Buddha and the age of the Arahants, there were many close relations between God and man. From the moment King Dutugemunu decided to build the Swarnamali Dagoba, the gods gave their full support. Similarly, when the construction of the Thuparama Stupa began, the relic of Aku was offered to the Sumana novices.
All this shows that the constant support of God was received by the people during the heyday of the Gautama Buddha Sasana. In the course of time the heavenly relationship with man has gradually come to an end and the asura relationship has come to the fore. Asura power is often associated with magical powers. There is no religious immorality in it. Ask them for something and they will do it.
It’s something like this. Someone tells another person I give you so much money. Insult that person in a humiliating way. Or I’ll give you a bottle of liquor to threaten and scold the assholes. So I definitely do it because I took the bottle of liquor. In the same way, he performs rituals for himself, makes sacrifices in various ways, gives blood and chants mantras. Asuras are bound to that magical power. Most likely this is the Sambari magic that is not going to happen. They are told to take this offering and destroy the harvest. He does it. This is a completely asura force.
There is a good example to understand the nature of the Asuras in the Isosamuddaka Sutta of the Sakka Compound. Many virtuous, Kalyana sages built temples and lived on the seashore. At that time there was an Asura war. The sages thought that God was righteous. Asuras are unrighteous. We will be in trouble if the Asuras win. Therefore, we should go to the asura called Sambara and ask for refuge from him.
Then the group of sages disappeared and descended in front of the asura called Sambara. ‘Asurendra, the sages greet you this before you. You can also scare people. It can also be a refuge. Give me what you want. ‘
Sambura Asura replies ‘God is against us. That ‘s it. That is why I fear for you who seek refuge. ‘
Then the sages say ‘You frighten us even when we seek refuge. We have nothing to do. Don’t lose your fear ‘, Sambara curses the asura.
We cannot say for sure how the eyes of the gods will fall. Our samsara is an endless bondage. Can’t find a corner of this. Although we are born as human beings today, this is a character who is bound up in the industrial relations, industrial influences, industrial consequences, etc. of individual souls. Such a character is in this season.
